Men| Women Collar
Measure around the fullest part of your neck. Ensure the tape measure is level all the way round and take the measurement with your index finger underneath the tape. This will ensure your collar is a comfortable fit, and not too tight.

Men Chest| Women Bust
Run the tape around the fullest part of your chest/ bust, the tape should be just below the arm pit and over the shoulder blades whilst horizontal to the floor.

Men| Women Sleeve
Measure from the top of the centre back (nape of the neck) to the end of your shoulder at the top of your arm. Measure from your shoulder to just before the wrist bone or where you would like your cuff to sit. Add the two together and round up to the nearest available sleeve length.

Comfort
The most important consideration when fitting a business shirt is comfort. It should be full enough so you can move comfortably without it pulling, but not so that it ruins the line of the jacket.

Cuffs
The cuff should show approximately half an inch (1.25cm) beneath the sleeve of the jacket. The cuff itself should fit snugly enough to hold its place on the wrist without appearing as tight as a bracelet.

Neckband
A shirt that fits properly should have a neckband with enough room so that you can fit two fingers in when buttoned.

Collar
The ideal shirt collar forms an upside down V, with the edges of the collar meeting at the throat. The collar should show approximately 1.25cm above the collar of the jacket.
