Gloweave Stain Information

INK
WASHABLE FABRICS
This is often an impossible stain because
of the many types of ink. Cold water may do
the trick. Otherwise, try laundry pre-soak,
rubbing alcohol, cleaning fluid or lemon juice

COFFEE & TEA
WASHABLE FABRICS
If mixed with cream or milk, use cleaning
fluid first, then soap and water. If not, use
soap and water.

SALAD DRESSING
WASHABLE FABRICS
Treat as a 'combination stain.' Using
cleaning fluid first, then water.

LIPSTICK
WASHABLE FABRICS
Cleaning fluid, then soap and water.
Then a really good excuse!

ALCOHOL
WASHABLE FABRICS
The old remedy of rubbing salt on a wine
stain can often set the stain. Use water.

CHEWING GUM
WASHABLE FABRICS
Carefully scrape off the excess without
damaging the fabric (harden it first with an ice cube and it will come off more easily.) Then launder. If it remains, try a grease solvent.

CHOCOLATE
WASHABLE FABRICS
Use soap and water.

SOFT DRINKS
WASHABLE FABRICS
Sponge immediately with cold water.

BLOOD
WASHABLE FABRICS
Soak in cold water (hot water sets the stain)
then launder. If it remains, try a few drops of
ammonia and then rewash.

SAUCES & SOUPS
WASHABLE FABRICS
If non-greasy, use water. If a combination
stain, use cleaning fluid first, then water.

GRASS STAINS
WASHABLE FABRICS
If fresh (the stain, not the grass) try an
enzyme pre-soak or a heavy-duty detergent.
If already set, try a cleaning fluid.

FRUITS & FRUIT JUICES
WASHABLE FABRICS
Sponge the fabric immediately with cold
water. Then soak . If the stain
persists try a little hydrogen peroxide and
chlorine bleach.
