Fit Tips

Comfort
The most important consideration when fitting a business shirt is comfort. It should be full enough so you can move comfortably without it pulling, but not so that it ruins the line of the jacket.
Cuffs
The cuff should show approximately half an inch (1.25cm) beneath the sleeve of the jacket. The cuff itself should fit snugly enough to hold its place on the wrist without appearing as tight as a bracelet.
Neckband
A shirt that fits properly should have a neckband with enough room so that you can fit two fingers in when buttoned.
Collar
The ideal shirt collar forms an upside down V, with the edges of the collar meeting at the throat. The collar should show approximately 1.25cm above the collar of the jacket.
Handy Hints
Stains
Stains will happen!
Treating a stain is an imprecise science, and sometimes more harm than can be done. Never experiment with tough
stains, take the garment to be professional cleaning. Like anything in life, the sooner you deal with it, the better.
